(Meeting again)

1.I'm glad to see you again.

2.Glad to see you again.

3.Glad to see you.

4.It's nice to see you again.

1.Glad to see you too.
2.Glad to see you.

3.It's nice to see you again too.

I haven't seen you for a long time.

1.I haven't seen you in years.

2.I haven't seen you in ages.
3.Where have you been keeping yourself?

4.I haven't seen much of you lately.

A : Hello, Pancake. I'm glad to see you again.

B : Hello, John. How have you been?

A : Fine, thanks. And you?

B : Just fine. How is your clothes business?

A : Not so bad. I hope it'll be better next year.

B : Oh! I'm glad to hear that.

A : Well, I'm on my way to pick up my wife at her office. Good-bye.

B : Good bye. Nice to have seen you again.

Yes. / Yes, you may.

No. / No, you may not.

เช่น May I come in ? May I go out ?

Yes. / Yes, you may.

No. / No, you may not.

(Time)

1) It's nine ten.

2) It's ten minutes after nine.
3) It's ten minutes past nine.
1) It's nine thirty five.

2) It's twenty-five minutes to ten.

1) It's nine fifteen.
2) It's a quarter past nine.

1) It's seven thirty.
2) It's half past seven.

1) It's a quarter to eight.
2) It's saven forty-five.
3) It's fifteen minutes to eight.

การใช้ A.M. และ P.M.
a.m. หรือ A.M.
It's noon.

It's close to ten o'clock.
He watches is slow.
He watches is fast.
He watches has stopped.
Can you spare three minutes?

A : Excuse me. What time is it now?
B : It's just five o'clock.
A : Isn't your watch a little too fast?
B : I don't think so, because I've just set it this morning.
A : Is that so? Thank you very much.

(Question)

2.การตั้งคำถามเพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูลที่เจาะจงว่าใคร(who), อะไร(what), เมื่อไหร่(when), ที่ไหน(where), ทำไม(why) และ อย่างไร (how)

(Yes/No question)

Do you sing?
Does he sing?
Does she sing?
Does it sing?
Do we sing?
Do they sing?

ตัวอย่างคำตอบ Do you sing ? ถ้าตอบว่าใช่ Yes, I do. No,I don't.

Why do you fight?
Where does he live?

Teaching Writing Skills

The most important factor in writing exercises is that students need to be personally involved in order to make the learning experience of lasting value. Encouraging student participation in the exercise, while at the same time refining and expanding writing skills, requires a certain pragmatic approach. The teacher should be clear on what skills he/she is trying to develop. Next, the teacher needs to decide on which means (or type of exercise) can facilitate learning of the target area. Once the target skill areas and means of implmentation are defined, the teacher can then proceed to focus on what topic can be employed to ensure student participation. By pragmatically combing these objectives, the teacher can expect both enthusiasm and effective learning.

However, if the task is more general (for example developing informal letter writing skills), maybe the best approach would be to have the students work in groups thereby learning from each other.
